Woolly Pocket Vest is worked from the top down in broken rib. Back shoulders are shaped with increases before stitches are picked up for the front shoulders. Each front is worked separately before being joined at the bottom of the V-neck. Double edge stitches are worked along the neckline and armholes – making any further finishing here optional.
Front and back are joined at the underarms and work continued in the round to desired length and finished with a ribbed hem. The two patch pockets are worked separately, sewn on and decorated with a button. Each shoulder is closed with buttons to simplify dressing and undressing.
